The Parish of Sebergham is situated in Cumbria bordering the northern edge of the Lake District National Park.
With a population of 361 (2001 census), it is made up of the villages of Welton and Sebergham, together with the hamlets of Nether-Welton, Churchtown and Warnell.

Dominated by pleasant rural landscapes and straddling the River Caldew, the parish is flanked on the South by the spectacular Caldbeck fells, with the ancient Inglewood Forest to the East , the Solway Plain to the West and Northwest and the historic city of Carlisle to the North.
