| SEBERGHAM CAMPING BARN | |
| (on the Cumbria Way) | |
| This building situated on the Cumbria Way opposite Sebergham Church is the Old School in Churchtown, Sebergham (CA5 7HS). It was purchased by the Church in 1952 and was used for many years by the Girl Guides and Brownies as an activity centre with overnight accommodation. It is ideally situated in the River Caldew valley and on the very edge of the Northern Fells. It is used occasionally by the Church for meetings but is largely available for letting to groups who want basic and low cost accommodation - possibly cheaper and almost certainly more comfortable than camping especially in the winter months. | |

| Side Room | can be used as overflow bed space or for group leaders. It has Z beds. |
| Wash Room | 1 Shower and wcs and wash basins |
| Bunk Room | 9 bunk beds (18 persons) and 2 wash basins |
| There is some heating in all rooms and the accommodation is frequently used by University Canoe groups in the winter months as it provides low cost accommodation and space. The accommodation is only available to prebooked groups and is not available for casual single occupancy as the building is not staffed. | |
